Takko Fashion appoints new Chief Executive Officer effective second quarter of 2021

Takko Fashion, one of the leading smart fashion discounters in Europe, today in-forms about the appointment of its future Chief Executive Officer. Starting in his role as early as April of 2021, Markus Rech will take over the duties of Karl-Heinz Holland.

Karl-Heinz Holland, interim CEO and Chairman of the Takko Fashion Advisory Board, will continue to hold the position for the time being. To ensure a thorough introduction to the company, Markus Rech will start working for the company with immediate effect, to guarantee a smooth handover in April.

Markus Rech has extensive experience in the textile retail and store business. He served as CEO of SportScheck for more than four years, and during this time positioned the sporting goods retailer anew and further developed the business model. Prior to that, the 47-year-old headed up Engelhorn Sports, a German midsized textile company, for almost a decade.
