With the launch of the online shop at takko.com/de-at and the digital customer loyalty programme Takko Friends in Austria, Takko Fashion, one of the leading European quality fashion discounters, is focusing on a holistic online and offline experience for its customers. The European-wide expansion of the digital offer is an essential part of Takko Fashion's omnichannel strategy, which focuses on a strong networking of the sales channels.

Since 2016, Takko Fashion has been driving growth in e-commerce with the successful launch of its German online shop and has steadily expanded its network of stores across Europe. With the launch in Austria, the company is now taking the next step. Takko Fashion is sending a strong message: despite the challenging consumer climate in the retail sector, the fashion company is opening up further sales markets in Europe.

"With the online shop and the Takko Friends app, we primarily want to support the stationary business with our 111 shops in Austria. Thanks to our omnichannel concept with online shop, dense network of stores, Takko Friends app and presence on all important social media channels, we are accessible to our customers at all times and offer a holistic feel-good shopping experience," says Marc Andreas Carls, Country Manager Austria.

"Our online shop quickly established itself as a popular sales channel for our German customers, so it was clear to us early on that we wanted to internationalise the online shop in the future," says Manuela Holler, Senior Director Marketing & E-Commerce Takko Fashion.

In addition to the new online shop, the Takko Friends app links online and offline sales. Customers can use the app to redeem points and individual coupons both in the online shop and in the stores. Receipts can be found digitally and permanently in the app on request. Takko Friends also has a news section with FAQ and product content as well as a store finder with navigation to the nearest Takko Fashion Store.

Thanks to the integration of the online shop, customers have round-the-clock access to the entire fashion range, which includes around 3,500 items. Orders can be sent to a preferred address in Austria or to the preferred store. Returns can always be made free of charge in the store. The Takko Friends app is available for download for Android and iOS in the app store.

The fashion company also plans to launch its online shop in France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Slovakia this year.
