Telgte, June 5, 2025. The quality fashion discounter Takko Fashion has reported its highest ever revenue and EBITDA for the 2024/2025 financial year.
The company continues its growth trajectory in line with its strategy and defies the industry trend.
Takko Fashion achieved a record adjusted net revenue of EUR 1,316.8 million in the 2024/2025 financial year, ending January 31, 2025. This corresponds to an increase of 3.3% (compared to the twelve-month period ended Jan. 31, 2024: EUR 1,274.4 million). This is primarily attributed to strong like-for-like growth of 3.2%. Adjusted EBITDA pre-IFRS 16 rose by 28.7% to EUR 180.2 million (compared to the twelve-month period ended Jan. 31, 2024: EUR 140 million).
The successful business development continues in the first quarter of the current financial year, ending April 30, 2025: adjusted net revenue amounted to
EUR 287.5 million, with a like-for-like growth of plus 1% in the first quarter. The strong business performance is also reflected in an adjusted EBITDA pre-IFRS 16 of EUR 26.1 million, an increase of 32.9% compared to last year, highlighting the continued successful execution of Takko Fashion’s strategic plan.
The record results reflect the company's clear positioning as a quality fashion discounter, offering quality fashion for the entire family at discount prices. A range of strategic initiatives to enhance the product offering for customers strengthened this positioning as well as customer demand, which allowed the company to significantly reduce markdowns across key product categories benefitting its profit margin.

Stefan Macheleidt, CFO of Takko Fashion: “Our adjusted EBITDA grew by almost 29% last year, a record result, thanks to our tailored offering for our customers. Strong customer demand enabled us to optimise our markdown strategy, achieving better margins while selling faster. Together with our attractive product offering and strong operational excellence, we increased our adjusted EBITDA margin to 13.7% for FY2024/2025, an increase of almost 3 percentage points compared to the previous year.”
A central pillar of the company’s growth strategy is the planned expansion of its store network by 300 new locations across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands over the next three years. The expansion plans include new stores in retail parks, shopping centres, and strategically selected city centre locations. At the same time, Takko Fashion is strengthening long-term customer loyalty and engagement through new, personalised features in its Takko Friends customer app, which are set to launch in June. With a growing customer base of more than 7 million Takko Friends members, the loyalty program consistently drives revenue growth and strengthens customer purchase intent.
