Takko Fashion confirms management changes

Takko Fashion, one of the leading smart fashion discounters in Europe, today announces the departure of CFO Andreas Silbernagel. The Chief Financial Officer is leaving the company at his own request by the end of March.

For health reasons, Andreas Silbernagel had adjourned his position since the beginning of the year. His responsibilities will continue to be carried out by Ernst de Kuiper, Interim CFO Takko Fashion, who brings extensive experience in the retail business and is familiar with private equity-owned companies.

With over 30 years of experience at Takko Fashion, Andreas Silbernagel has accompanied the company on its path to success almost from the very beginning. The entire management and all colleagues at Takko Fashion are extremely grateful to him for his outstanding commitment during this time.

As the company has already announced, Markus Rech will take over the position of Chief Executive Officer of Takko Fashion from the first of April. The 47-year-old already started working for the company in February to ensure a smooth handover in the second quarter.

Markus Rech takes over as CEO from Karl-Heinz Holland, who has held the position on an interim basis until to date. As Chairman of the Advisory Board of Takko Fashion, Karl-Heinz Holland will continue to work closely with the company and the new management.
