Tjeerd Jegen leaves Takko Fashion

• Tjeerd Jegen leaves Takko Fashion on the best of terms to pursue next career step with Dutch bike manufacturer Accell Group
• Current Executive Management Board Members Thomas Füllhaas (COO), Dr. Stephan Hungeling (CFO) and Sebastian Weber (CPO) will be appointed Co-CEOs on an interim basis

Takko Fashion, one of the leading quality fashion discounters in Europe, today announces the departure of CEO Tjeerd Jegen who leaves the company on the best of terms to pursue his next career step with the Dutch bike manufacturer Accell Group. Until a successor will be announced, the current Executive Management Board Members Thomas Füllhaas, Chief Operations Officer (COO), Dr. Stephan Hungeling, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Sebastian Weber, Chief Product Officer (CPO), will continue Tjeerd Jegen's duties as Co-CEOs on an interim basis with the support of the Takko Fashion Advisory Board chaired by Dirk Van den Berghe.

Tjeerd Jegen: “The company as well as the entire Takko Fashion team have grown close to my heart, however I have come to this personal decision as this career change will allow me to work closer to my family in the Netherlands as well as to combine my long-time passion of road bike riding with my career. With its growth strategy, successful omnichannel approach and also benefitting from the increasing demand for both affordable and high quality clothing, Takko Fashion is ideally positioned to continue its growth path in the future. COO Thomas Füllhaas and CPO Sebastian Weber are part of the company’s Executive Management Board since October 2021. Both Senior Executives bring extensive experience in vertical fashion retail and have been instrumental in the successful strategic development of Takko Fashion over the last decade. Dr. Stephan Hungeling recently joined Takko Fashion as CFO and draws on profound industry experience having held various management positions in the consumer goods industry in the European retail sector. Dirk Van den Berghe has been appointed Chairman of the Takko Fashion Advisory Board in September. He has almost 20 years of experience as CEO of retail and digital companies on three continents with each up to tens of billions USD in revenue.
